Finished up this preemie size baby blankie last night - and I made a tiny hat to go with it. I crocheted it with the mill-ends yarn I bought from AC Moore last week. I have no idea what brand it is, but I do know that it is an acrylic and polyester mix - and it's a light worsted weight. This little blankie measures 22" point to point.

I have about 8 ounces of this yarn left over - would anyone like to have it? Just leave a comment here and I will choose a name Monday morning.
Thanks for dropping by. :)
Awe, that is so sweet. I have a star pattern and I haven't made it yet. Too many things which I want to do and not enough me to do them. Kathy
ReplyDeleteOh, what a beauty! I love it! ♡
ReplyDeleteWho don't want yarn?!never enough =o).Lovely giveaway, thank you for the chance to win it.Lovely blanket,as always.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute blanket! I was just thinking about your site "did you make that" I think a "do you want that" site would be cool..People could post yarn that they would like to trade sell or give away.. I love your hat pattern! which one did you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks Neicee. The baby hat pattern is from here - you have to scroll down a little:

my hat is dc though since I crochet a little tight.
A 'Do you want that?' site would be pretty neat. I wonder if it would work?
I just check out the swapworkshop..a little yarn but its mostly trading handmade items. I think it would work.
DeleteHi Neicee. I looked at the swapworkshop site and it's pretty neat. I don't know if I want to do a yarn swap site. It always happens that some people will not follow through with their swap and I will be held responsible for that. I'll have to think on that. :)
DeleteFreecycle is sort of a "do you want that site" and I have some friends who love http://swapworkshop.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for the site ideas Carla - I'll have to check into them. :)

ReplyDeleteI love it. Some tiny baby is going to be very lucky to be able to snuggle up in this set. Round afghans/blankets are some of my favorites. There's plenty to wrap up in. :) I want to thank you for the package I received yesterday. It was so kind of you and I know I'm going to put these goodies to use!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Sharon - have fun with them. :)

the beginning of mine is a little different, but I didn't write down how I did it - sorry. :)
Oh, thank you so much...I'm notorious for 'tweaking' a pattern, then I forget what I did, and have a hell of a time trying to explain it or do it again...lol. Not a problem at all.
DeleteI would love the leftovers!! I have an idea for what I can do!! Wonderful design, where can I find this pattern???
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa - sorry, the giveaway was closed yesterday. I usually use the Angel Kisses round ripple pattern, but for this one I changed the beginning a little - I didn't write it down though. Here's the link for the Angel Kisses round ripple:
